Dragons showed their class at end
The day after Chunichi earned its eighth trip to the Japan Series, the sky over Nagoya on Sunday was "Dragons blue." The Yomiuri Giants were just plain blue.

Despite losing last year's MVP (Kosuke Fukudome) halfway through the season and lacking the pop to match the powerful Giants, Chunichi powered its way through both Central League Climax Series stages to reach the Japan Series in consecutive years for the first time in club history.
