Takahiro Arai to step down as JPBPA chairman after current term ends

Takahiro Arai (Hanshin) is planning to step down as the chairman of the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association (JPBPA) once he finishes his current term in December. Motorhiro Shima (Rakuten), vice chairman, could step in as his replacement.
